For the kitchen
Garlic by the kilogram
Cleaned, sorted bulbs ready for the pantry. Stored properly, they will keep until next spring. An average bulb weighs 55–70 g.

We harvest the garlic by hand and cure it under cover for six weeks. Our yellow-fleshed potatoes are grown for everyday cooking. We grow both on our farm.
Our range · 2026 harvest
We sell garlic by the kilogram, as a braid, for planting and as a gift bouquet. Potatoes are available for the kitchen or as animal feed.
For the kitchen
Cleaned, sorted bulbs ready for the pantry. Stored properly, they will keep until next spring. An average bulb weighs 55–70 g.
Braided by hand
Braided from the dried stalks, just as it was once done at home. Hang it in the kitchen and break off a bulb whenever you need one. Air can circulate around it, helping the garlic keep longer than it would in a bowl.
Plant in October · limited quantity
The largest bulbs from this year's harvest, carefully selected and kept back for planting. They have not been treated to prevent sprouting, so they really will grow. 1 kg yields around 60 plants.
Gift
Five garlic bulbs and fresh rosemary, wrapped in paper and tied with string. For someone who loves to cook and already has everything. We can include a handwritten card.

Our farm
We plant every garlic clove by hand in late October. The bulbs are lifted in late June, left in the field for two days and then cured under cover for six weeks. Once the stalks are dry, we clean, sort and braid the garlic.
We also grow yellow-fleshed potatoes. We sell them for everyday cooking and offer feed potatoes separately.
We grow the garlic and potatoes ourselves and sell them directly from the farm.
Home-grown potatoes
Our potatoes are suited to a range of everyday dishes. We agree the price for larger quantities when you order.
Feed potatoes cost €0.20/kg. For both products, we confirm availability before arranging collection or delivery.

Frequently asked questions
Properly dried garlic keeps from the July harvest until the following spring, around eight to ten months. Store it in a dry, dark, well-ventilated place at 10–15 °C. Do not keep it in the refrigerator or a plastic bag, where it may begin to mould or sprout. A garlic braid hanging in the kitchen is one of the best ways to store it.
Autumn garlic is planted from mid-October to mid-November, around three to four weeks before the first frost, so it can establish roots without sending up leaves. We plant the cloves 5 cm deep, 12–15 cm apart and with the pointed end up. One kilogram of seed garlic gives around 60 plants, enough for roughly 8–10 linear metres of bed.
Garlic sold by the kilogram is cleaned and sorted for the kitchen. We select the largest bulbs for planting. The seed garlic is not treated with sprout inhibitors and is dispatched in late September.
Delivery availability, method and price are agreed after the WhatsApp order. Free collection is available at Gaberje, Kratka 4, Lendava; please call ahead.
